Terms & Conditions

 These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods by Auto Door Systems LLP ("we", "us" and "our"), trading as Auto-Door-Parts.co.uk.
By placing an order through www.auto-door-parts.co.uk, you are offering to purchase goods from Auto Door Systems LLP,
and any contract formed shall be between you and Auto Door Systems LLP.

Your order on this website constitutes an offer to us to purchase the goods in your basket, and we will do our utmost to fulfil this order to the service levels you have every right to expect. To meet our service commitment to you, we will store your order and necessary personal details, obtain authorisation from your bank for the payment, and make certain security checks on your identity and address. This section details these actions and our respective rights and obligations.

  Acceptance of orders

We validate your order and the credit or debit card details you submit to us before your order can be accepted. Once this has been done, we will send an email confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order. A legally binding contract between us is formed only when we issue the Despatch Confirmation Email.
All orders for products and services are subject to availability.
We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards via PayPal. Payment will be debited to your account before the dispatch of your purchase. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. We will not be liable for any delay to your order that may result from such validation or authorisation checks. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us or you fail our security checks, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

  Email confirmation

When you place an order to purchase a product from Auto-Door-Parts.co.uk, we will send you an email confirming that we have received the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase a product from us. Acceptance of that offer, and the formation of a legally binding contract, shall occur only when we issue the email confirming that the goods have been despatched (the "Despatch Confirmation Email").
Any products on the same order that we have not confirmed in the Despatch Confirmation Email to have been despatched do not form part of that contract.

  Payment problems

If, for any reason, there is a problem with collecting payment from your credit /payment card after we have confirmed receipt of your order, we will not be obliged to despatch your order. Additionally, on some occasions, we may be unable to process an order. The reasons for this may be due to:

1. The item being out of stock or no longer available; or
2. Your payment being declined; or
3. An unspecified technical error.

If you are sure you are using a valid card, please try again with the same credit/debit card or please place another order on our website, using a different credit/debit card.

  Security checks

As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we conduct security checks on all our orders. These can take various forms and may involve contacting you by telephone before we process your order. Auto-Door-Parts.co.uk also retains the service of various credit rating and fraud prevention companies, and we may share details of your order with them for the sole purpose of detecting and preventing fraudulent use of your payment cards.

  Availability of Products

If online store products become temporarily unavailable, we may hold your order until the product becomes available again or, at our discretion, offer a suitable alternative or a full refund. and will then mail the product to you in the usual way. In the event that an individual product becomes permanently unavailable then we will seek to offer you a suitable alternative or give you a full refund.

  Delivery Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the Seller and the Buyer, delivery of goods shall be deemed to have occurred upon delivery, or attempted delivery, to the Buyer.
If the Buyer fails to take delivery, refuses delivery, fails to pay any applicable customs duties or taxes, or otherwise causes the goods to be returned to the Seller, the Seller shall be entitled to treat the order as cancelled and may charge a re-stocking fee and recover any reasonable shipping, return freight, customs handling, storage and administration costs incurred. If agreed in writing the Seller may redeliver, but is entitled to charge a re-delivery fee.
Any date of delivery given by the Seller to the Buyer shall be an estimate only and while the Seller will endeavour to comply with such date the Seller shall not be responsible for late delivery.
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the Seller shall not be liable for late delivery or failure to deliver through any cause which is beyond the reasonable control of the Seller.
Where the Seller offers goods for next day delivery this is on the assumption that the goods are normally held in stock. If at any time a next day delivery order is placed by the Buyer, but the goods are not available for whatever reason, the Seller shall notify the Buyer, and rearrange delivery and offer to dispatch on a next day basis at the next available opportunity.

  International Orders and Customs Charges

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, the Buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local import requirements and for payment of any applicable customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage charges or other fees imposed by the destination country.
Where the Buyer refuses delivery, fails to pay any applicable import duties, taxes or customs charges, or otherwise causes the parcel to be returned to the Seller, such return shall be treated as a customer-initiated cancellation or unauthorised return.
In such circumstances, the Seller reserves the right to deduct from any refund:

  • the original outbound shipping costs;
  • any return freight charges imposed by the carrier;
  • any storage charges;
  • customs handling charges, administration fees or other costs incurred in recovering the goods; and
  • any applicable restocking fees.

Where the total of these charges exceeds the amount paid for the goods, no balance refund shall be payable.
Acceptance of delivery shall be deemed to have occurred upon delivery or attempted delivery to the address specified by the Buyer.
