SL500 12V Backup Battery (EEU 12) for emergency opening of the Assa Abloy SL500, EM PSL100 & EM PSL150 sliding door operators.
The 12V battery can be connected so that the door automatically opens in the event of a power failure.

For fire escape routes the 24V Backup Battery (EEU 24) is required.
The 24V Backup Battery (EEU 24) requires 2 of the 12V Backup Batteries (EEU 12) plus a 550495 Y-Wire harness, and allows for higher speed Fail Open, Fail close or continuous normal operation during short power outages (convenience mode).
