Where an existing automatic door has failed but the original equipment is obsolete or uneconomical then the doors themselves can be re-used and the operating motor and control systems replaced with a Retrofit Kit. This option provides a cost effective alternative to replacing the door in its entirety.

We have a range of cost effective Retrofit kits designed to upgrade obsolete or un-economical sliding operators FAST. The STA 20 Quick Fit Retrofit Kit is the most versatile sliding door retrofit kit on the market.

This innovative style of retrofit kit allows you to upgrade the motor gearbox, control system and switch with the same trusted equipment as the STA 20 whilst re-using the existing housing and wheels.

All our kits are ordered by manufacturer and model, ensuring that you get the right kit for the right operator – saving valuable time and money on installations.

All our kits come with full instructions and operator specific metal brackets to allow easy fitting. Most installations are achievable in just 2-3 hours, including wiring and setup.

All Retro Kits include:
1 x Processor, 1 x Locking Motor, 1 x BDE-D, 1 x Battery & any other components / bracketry required for the install.

Fem Boards are required if using 3rd part sensors (non-record). If the sensors are RIC290 or AIS290 then a FEM board is not required. A Fem Board will be required if linking to programmable input e.g. an access control system or BMS.

If header is compact (<=100mm) the universal kit may not be compatible.

Note: The standard kit comes without an FEM-0 board.
